What We Believe

"To Know God and Make His Love Known"

Core Convictions

The following are the core beliefs of Spokane Christian Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

To Know God

Make His Love Known

Personal God

Participation in the Body

We believe our God desires a relationship with everyone. God is revealed in the Father, in Jesus the Son, both Savior and Lord, and in the Holy Spirit, who in-dwells every Christian.

We believe the Bible teaches that we are all connected, having been added to the body of Christ, the church, and called to be integral parts in the local congregation and the world wide fellowship.

Practical Word

Practicing Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and the authority for our life.
We are a Christ centered family of believers committed to serving one another and the community, maturing its members and helping to save the lost while never forgetting the poor, needy and afflicted.

Personal Commitment

Personal Connection

We believe that people are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus, which is evidenced when they believe, confess Jesus as Lord, repent of their sins, and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins. We are convinced that this is God’s plan for salvation.
We believe the scriptures teach that we are saved by grace and that grace should inspire us to live a life worthy of His calling and to help others to do the same. We believe in the mission of Jesus to seek and help others become disciples, not only in the Spokane area, but around the world.
