Change the WorldThe City Gate is a ministry to the homeless and displaced community on the streets of Spokane. City Gate serves 2,600 meals a month to those in need. Every Saturday morning they serve breakfast. The Spokane Christian Church volunteers to serve the homeless at City Gate regularly. With your help as a volunteer, we can provide a warm breakfast to the homeless of Spokane for less than $1.00 per person! In addition to a warm meal, we can provide a friendly smile, conversation, compassion, love, and so much more because of what God has done for us. Let’s pray to have the hearts of Cornelius in Acts 10:2 “He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.”

INBCINBC is the sole provider of vital blood and blood products to more than 35 hospitals and medical centers in the Inland Northwest. More than 150 donors are needed every day, 365 days a year, to keep up with area patient transfusion needs. Each unit of whole blood has the potential to go to three different patients. The recipients may be accident or burn victims, cancer or heart patients, premature babies or anyone needing a blood transfusion. By donating blood you help to meet the community’s needs.

The Spokane Christian Church’s continued support of the Community Blood Program helps to ensure that the INBC maintains a safe and adequate blood supply for those who need this lifesaving medicine. In 2007 and 2008 we surpassed our drive goals and were recognized in the “Top Drops” program for our hard work and support of the Blood Center. Thank you for all your hearts to give and sacrifice!

Your one whole blood donation can help save the lives of up to three patients.  If you are interested in serving in this way in 2009 please do come to the Church building on the following dates: June 14th and October 18th or contact us for more info.  Note: Please remember to bring photo identification when presenting to donate.

Bloomsday Volunteers from SCCThis is an awesome day and an incredibly fun time as we as a Church get to share about our church family with about 40,000 people through serving and talking with those around us who are there to watch. It is also an opportunity to serve by encouraging the many members from the Church who run/walk in the race itself.  We are very excited to see what God is going to do and how God changes lives in the process!
