Luke 8:15 says..."But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop."

When thinking of Delores' testimony you can help but to think, " Wow, look at how awesome our God is, look at the power of His amazing grace!"  God never gives up on people, His mercy is rich, His love endures forever!  Delores is a woman with a gentle spirit who who has been moved by God for over a year.  She began studying the bible with other sisters over a year ago, her story is one of perseverance... someone who continued to work out her salvation with fear and trembling. 

I can't help but to be grateful for all the Christian women who continued to love, continued to pray and continued to help Delores wrestle in the Holy Scriptures.  These women (Amy, Lisa and Christie) are to be commended for their faith in the Lord Jesus.

When we are tempted to give up on people as we reach out and share our faith may we remember the story of Delores, a story of God using His powerful Seed (the Word), using His followers' prayer and patience and the circumstances God uses to bring people into His Kingdom to produce a crop that will last for eternity. 

Lets continue to pray for Delores and her journey as a disciple of Christ.  may we all imitate her faith as well as the faith of women who studied the Bible with her.
