Movement: The Lord brought about an incredible harvest. Kevin, Taylor, JP and Alana have become disciples of Jesus. JP was our first teen from the Children's ministry to grow up to become a disciple of Christ. The Lord would put it on Nate and Megan to raise up to preach to the teens on Sunday's.
Prayer: Lord, allow this website to draw people who will become followers of Christ in a strong way.
Movement: The Lord brought Dave, Crystal and Devonne in which all have become disciples of Jesus. Many friends come to visit from the website on a weekly basis.
Prayer: Lord, help us to have an impact in an incredible way through the sports ministry especially the South Hill Area.
Movement: The Lord has brought many athletes and families from one of the High Schools and Little league teams in an incredible way from the South Hill. Several families are still visiting the Church and many have become Christians.
Prayer: Lord, Help us to be a house of prayer.
Movement: The Lord has been transforming us through Sunday Teaching on prayer, more and more people are talking about how God is moving through their prayer lives. We have learned what it means to fall prostrate before the LORD in great humility, many did just that in April as there were tears shed as we cried out to God, also within this event many prayed for every member of the Spokane Christian Church. God is equipping the saints through prayer, more brothers and sisters are praying to God first before they decide to act and are praying for God to work during their battles. God has been inspiring disciples to get together for all-night prayers!
At another time we learned the importance of confessing to one another and to God, God moved the hearts of the people many confessed sins to one another and prayed on behalf of one another. Disciples lifted their voices in prayer thanking God for our great salvation, praising God for washing us all clean and asking God to fill us up with His Holy Spirit....at the end we all sang the song Jesus is Lord, My Redeemer! The Lord is moving among us!
Prayer: Lord, be with our brother and sister who are newly licensed foster parents, open up a door for them to be able to foster a child or adopt a child. May your will be done.
Movement: A baby boy was placed in their home by word of mouth even before they were setup to receive calls from the Home Finder system. His initial foster mom handed him into their arms across from the Big Red Wagon at Riverfront Park. Then both families celebrated together at the Carousel, which the Latah family had rented out that same morning for an annual gathering of foster families.
Prayer: Lord, help Ryan and Tori to become Christians
Movement: God's love led them to make a decision. Ryan and Tori were baptized into the family of Christ after much study in God's Word.
Prayer: Lord, help us to have an opportunity to share our faith in the community around the building in which we worship together.
Movement: The Lord has provided for us a donation of 3,000 New Testament Bibles to distribute through out the community. The Lord has provided us an opportunity to minister to almost 50 teens and their families this upcoming school year through sports. The Lord is bringing friends to Worship Services from the neighbor-hood.
Prayer: Lord help us to raise $25,000 to help meet needs and spread your gospel message locally, regionally and globally.
Movement: So far as of the end of April, the Lord has moved the hearts of the disciples to give generously. The Lord has provided over $33,000 so far.
Prayer: Lord help us pull together a Mission Team to travel to Juarez, Mexico, build a home for a family who is without adequate shelter, to be used to share the love of Christ and to be Christ hands and feet. Lord provide the money for people that have willing hearts to go, provide the money to purchase the material to build the house.
Movement: The Lord is assembling his Mission Team of people from all over. Some of these areas include Spokane WA, Seattle WA, Boise ID, Kansas City, KS and Ashland, OR. For many this will be their first time on a trip like this. So far, God has brought together a team of 25 disciples!
Prayer: Lord, bring a revival within our campus ministry. Use them in an incredible way to spread the gospel message to many within the schools of the Inland Northwest.
Movement: The Lord has revived many campus students faith within the Church. God has moved their hearts get up early in the morning to pray over the campus and the needs that exist within the Campus Ministry. The community colleges have come to life with many that come to bible discussions. Many students from Eastern Washington are studying the bible to become Christians right now.
Prayer: Lord, help us in our Youth Ministry. We need for you to raise up leaders to help with the Youth Ministry.
Movement: God placed it on the hearts of Phil and Sara to be willing to train in the ministry as volunteer Youth Ministry Interns. Both Interns are in training in the service of the youth minstry by the Peacock's. John and Kerry continue to serve as youth workers.
Prayer: Lord use our Church band to impact the world and in the community.
Movement: The Lord has provided opportunities for the band to lead worship at the International Worship Leader's Conference. The Lord has allowed Andrew Cook to be selected to teach some classes at the event. God has allowed them to perform at one of our city's largest outdoor event Bloomsday as well as for the Northwest Youth Camp. "The Void Reclaimed" has also performed at the NW Christian Conference. God is moving the hearts of people who visit our Worship Services on Sunday's through the band.
Prayer: Lord let us as a congregation have the opportunity to serve at a homeless shelter consistently throughout the year.
Movement: God has provided a local shelter called City Gate for us to serve in, preach in and worship in during the service of free meals to the homeless. God has given our congregation money for the food through the saints. The Lord has provided willing volunteers in which we served about 450 meals to the homeless so far.
Prayer: Lord, please heal baby Gabe's body.
Movement: Doctors are pleased with Gabe's progress. May 7th Jennifer (Gabe's mom) got test results back saying his blood work came back great, after 3.5 years in remission all his blood counts are back to normal; this means that is immune system has finally recovered from all the treatments and has no new tumor growth.
Prayer: Lord help Kate to become your disciple, that she would follow you and declare you Lord of her life.
Movement: Kate was baptized in the Lord last Sunday May 4, 2008 and has been added to God's family.
Prayer: Lord protect us from persecution, defend us and help men and women to know you...Lord Help Nick to become your follower inspite of all the persecution, that he would love you with all his heart, mind and soul, that he would make you Lord. Help Ashley to become your follower, that she would be willing to make you Lord of her life even in the face of persecution...
Movement: Nick was baptized into the Lord Tuesday May 27, 2008 and has been added to the kingdom of God. Ashley was baptized in the Lord on June 1, 2008.
Prayer: Lord God please be with Delores, help her to conquer the things she needs to conquer in order to make you the Lord of here life. Move her heart closer to you.
Movement: Delores was baptized into Christ Tuesday June 10, 2008 and has been added to the family of God.
Prayer: Lord help Doug to crucify his sinful nature and live by faith. Allow him to become your disciple. Lord work in a powerful way through your followers, through his daughter and all those studying the bible with him.
Movement: Doug at age 50 was baptized into Christ on Father's Day June 15, 2008.
Prayer: Lord God, help Lionel to overcome the things he needs to overcome so that he would be your follower, help him have the courage to say no to the lifestyle he is living and replace it with a Godly lifestyle.
Movement: Lionel was baptized into Christ Jesus on June 22, 2008. He has overcome some struggles and made Jesus the Lord of his life.
Prayer: Lord be with our great city. Allow us to have the opportunity to serve the Northwest Family of Churches by allowing us to host a youth camp. We pray that Your Spirit bring about a great revival within the youth ministr ies across the Northwest.
Movement: The Lord has provided the Spokane Christian Church the opportunity. The camp was a huge success, many are calling it the best camp they've ever been a part of, many youth are beginning to study the bible to become disciples of Jesus, some have committed to studying the bible every day to learn more about His Word. God worked in a powerful way through challenging lessons, incredible speakers, awesome counselors and through the prayers of the families and leaders throughout the Northwest.
Prayer: Lord God help Kevin and Lindsey become followers of yours. Help them to have a marriage built on the foundation that is Christ. Help them to have the conviction to put you first before they get married.
Movement: The Lord strengthened Kevin and Lindsey through prayer, spiritual relationships, bible study and premarital counseling. They were both baptized into Christ the day before their wedding.
Prayer: LORD God Almighty, please provide people right here in Spokane who are willing to go into the ministry and the funds to support them. Lord raise them up from within the Spokane Christian Church.
Movement: The Lord not only provided the funding through the financial sacrifices of the people but has provided us with incredible people from within the Church here in Spokane to serve in the ministry with the Peacock's. September 7, 2008 the Church formally introduced Tim and Heidi as Ministry Interns for the Church. To God be the Glory.
Prayer: Lord, we know that you are the provider, especially for Jesus. We pray that you provide us with a lawn-mower.
Movement: God provided a lawn-mower through a donation within the congregation. Thank you Lord.
Prayer: YHWH Jireh, Raise up someone who will lead your Single's Ministry. Take care of your sons and daughters in the Singles.
Movement: God raised up Manny and Lisa Trembley to take on this new role. The Singles have a thriving ministry under there care and direction in Christ.
Prayer: Lord, bring out some basketball players from Gonzaga University. Place a student in a class at Gonzaga University to get to know and care for some of the basketball players.
Movement: God placed one of our students and a basketball player in the same class. They have developed a friendship and even brought out now two basketball players to Church service and one baseball player to dinner.
Prayer: Lord of All, bring out and save an athlete from Eastern Washington University.
Movement: God has brought out a soccer player to small group up on campus. Cat had come to worship for several weeks, she studied the bible and fell in love with Christ and got baptized in the Lord December 9, 2008. To God be the glory!
