It started as a dream, a prayer and desire to see God bring an athlete from one of our Universities. The Lord has answered with some basketball players coming out from the Gonzaga Bull Dogs and a soccer player from Eastern Washington University. The Lord would continue to stir in the heart of a young lady nick named "Kat," a star soccer player from Eastern. Kat would come for many months to Sunday worship, Midweek services, the campus small group and go after God through intense study of the Scriptures with the campus sisters. The Lord has moved her in an amazing way leading her to believe, repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. She was baptized into the Lord in the Spokane River on a cold chilly night...to God be the Glory!
Its been awesome seeing the transformation in our Campus Ministry as of late. The group has started two new discipleship groups...one for the men called, "Mighty Men of God" and the other for the women called, "Women of Faith." The design is to break things down where students can take it deeper through challenges, confession and prayer. The men are going through the book, "Mighty Man of God" and the women are going through the book, "Captivating." Campus life is alive again; many friends are coming out to events and worship services. The spiritual pulse is climbing thanks to our Lord.
