Finishing strong means having great personal intimate times with YHWH through prayer, study and the application of His Word in your lives. It means worshiping God individually and coming together on Sunday's for corporate worship to celebrate the presence of God. Simply put: Loving God.
Finishing strong means that if you are a parent, it means having and implementing a plan for your child's spiritual development. If you are married, it means praying together, going out on dates and having great discipleship times. If you are single or campus it means spending great time with God and helping those around you to have great times with God. If you are an employee or business owner it means being the best example of Jesus you can be in the work place. As brothers and sisters in Christ it means having great relationships with your brothers and sisters in the Church. As a volunteer it means using your talents to please God and truly love people. As disciples it also means sharing the gospel message with the people in which the Lord has placed you. Simply put: Caring for People.
Finishing strong means that you are working on something in your character to bring it under the Lordship of Christ. It means that you are striving to become more and more like Jesus. It means getting help from others to help you overcome and encouraging others to become more like Christ. Simply put: Growing in Christ.
Finishing strong means that we are striving as a congregation to make a difference in this world through the spirit of volunteering, helping the poor and doing secret acts of kindness for those in need. It means finding your niche and getting involved in your community or even within the congregation to make a difference. Simply put: Changing the World.
